We were very fortunate to spend Thanksgiving in Hong Kong. We all had so much fun. It's was like being in the U.S. because all the cabbies spoke English and it was so clean!! We rode a cable car to the top of Victoria's Peak and the view was breath-taking. The city was beautiful and so we would like to share some pics with you. We will be going home for Christmas and can't wait to see our families!!! There is nothing like being home with family for the holidays. We wish all of you a wonderful holiday season.

Thanksgiving with Friends
We decided to fix a Thanksgiving feast with another family!! It was interesting putting it all together because you can't buy everything you need at one store. We also had to go back and forth from each other's apt. to actually prepare the meal. In the end, it turned out to be a wonderful evening with good Shanghai friends. We are truly blessed to have such wonderful friends. It makes living here a lot easier. Enjoy our pics.

Jackson in Yangshuo
Jackson took a week- long field trip with his class to a small town in southern China called Yangshuo. He had an experience of a lifetime with his teachers and classmates. He enjoyed rock-climbing, kayaking, mountain- biking, and cooking. He took lots of pics and we would like to share them with you!! Jackson has been a real trooper moving over here and diving right into a new school. We are so proud of him!! I think he will take away a lot of good memories of his life in Shanghai.

Our trip to Thailand in August
We wanted to show you some pics from our trip toThailand. We had so much fun, unfortunately John had to work most of the time, but he did find some time to play! Sorry about the black spot in some of the photos, but it just appeared one day while in Thailand. You have heard about the little black spot in the sun today, well we had the little black spot in the pics all day!! Enjoy!
Our Quaint Apartment
We want you to see our apartment so you can get an idea of our life in our new home. We are on the ninth floor and sometimes the elevator might not work, but that means I don't have to go to the gym that day!! We really like it, no it's not our house we are used to , but it's our home for now where we are all together!!
