Thailand 2009

So we were off again to Bangkok for Chinese New Year. We needed a break from all the fireworks in Shanghai. John had to go there on business, so we tagged along. We had a great time! Bangkok is truly an awesome city with lots to see and do. We visited the Grand Palace and took a riverboat cruise.It sure was warm there, unlike Shanghai this time of year.

Jackson's Invention

Jackson had to create an inventon for school. He nvented the Slice Sticks which can pick up slippery food. I also wanted you to see him in a suit. He is so grown up as you can see. It was a fun day for him. I think people liked his invention. He is learning so much at this new school! We all are learning so much living over here.

The Kohler Annual New Years Party

Well, I have some great pics to share with you!! Probably the best ever. I don't think you will ever see John dressed up like this again, so enjoy for now. I don't think I have to point out John. We had a great time at the party. They really put on a show for their annual party. This is the first year the spouses were invited so I was able to meet some of the other wives. They were so nice.

Happy New Year!!

Well, it is 2009 and we have been in China for almost 6 months!! That is so hard for us to believe. We have had so many wonderful experiences and more to come over the next 5 months. We had a great Christmas with our families back in Mississippi and Tennessee. We did burn up the highway from Nashville,with a small stop in Huntsville to see friends and check on our house, all the way down to Columbus, but it was well worth it. Waking up on Christmas morning and being with your family is the best feeling in the world. We sure miss all our family and friends, but we are making the most of our time here. Before we know it we will be packing our 16 suitcases again and heading back home. We would like to share some photos with you that we took before our trip home and some while we were at home!!
